Illinois Coal Sales, Inc. was established in1992 by James P. Murphy, its sole owner and President. The company is a "small business" and an Illinois "C" corporation involved in marketing coal and petroleum coke throughout Midwest America.

James P. Murphy has over 28 years of experience in the energy field. He is past president and current member of the Chicago Coal Shippers Association and the Coal, Barge and Rail Association of Chicago. He is also a member of the Southern Coals Conference and the Lexington Coal Exchange.
Illinois Liquid Energies was founded in 1994, a couple of years after Illinois Coal Sales, Inc. Illinois Liquid Energies continually exceeds in marketing diesel fuel, gasoline and now biofuel products to wholesale users of energy.

Michael R. Murphy, President of Illinois Liquid Energies, Inc. and Vice President of Illinois Coal Sales, Inc., has over 22 years of experience in the energy field. He is affiliated with numerous energy associations and continues to be the best at what he does.
